The Alimandi Bed and Breakfast Rome is the latest addition
to the string of accommodations in Rome offered by a
family with a long and illustrious history in the hotel
industry.
Offering the same high level of quality and service
that can be found in both of the existing Hotels (Alimandi
Tunisi 3 Star Hotel and Alimandi
Vaticano 4 Star Hotel), the B&B offers
a fantastic location, one hundred yards from the entrance
to the Vatican Museum and all the wonders
it houses.
Location
The area is rich in everyday amenities needed by travellers
and residents as well as being well connected by public
transport in the form of Metro Stations (Ottaviano
– San Pietro and Cipro – Musei
Vaticani) as well as regular and economical buses.
There are fantastic restaurant and bars as well as the
more practical facilities such as supermarkets, banks
and pharmacies. The comfortable rooms in this great
value for money budget Rome accommodation therefore
offer a fantastic option for holiday accommodation in
the city centre on the doorstep of the Vatican.
It was in 1957 when the grandmother of the current generation
of the Alimandi family managers rented out a room in her own
flat to visitors and pilgrims, and gradually began to buy
out her apartment block, floor by floor. This, in no short
time led to the development of the Alimandi Tunisi 3 Star
hotel that stands around 50 yards from the entrance to the
B&B. This proud hotel gained a reputation for offering
excellent service in a prime location. After years of success
the family expanded and in 2003 opened the luxurious 4 Star
Hotel Alimandi Vaticano that faces the walls and entrance
to the Vatican Museum itself.
Finally in summer 2007 the latest chapter in the Alimandi
story has come to life n the form of the elegant yet modest
Alimandi B&B, sure to prove as successful as its forebears
that sit yards from its door.
